While this is by no means an exhaustive list, these ABC flashcards do provide a list of 26 women from various cultural backgrounds and experiences who have shattered barriers and made a lasting impact on the world. Use these flashcards to practice the alphabet with your children or students while discovering the “hidden stories” of women of color. Discuss their various occupations and their contributions to the world. While young children are probably not ready to memorize dates and historical timelines, they are more than capable of listening to and appreciating the stories of barrier breaking women.

Cards are 3.5in x 5.5in, have UV coating so that they pick up less grime from handling, and come inside their own box. Each box is individually wrapped with shrink warp and cards are sealed inside a ziplock bag which you can keep or discard.
